The AP® course is designed to
incorporate reading, writing, listening and speaking skills to enable students to further develop their proficiency across the interpersonal, interpretive and presentational communication modes.
An integral component of the curriculum is
developing an appreciation and understanding of Chinese culture. The students will explore cultural celebrations, beliefs and attitudes, teen life and global community and social issues to name a few.
Ponddy's AP curriculum adheres to
the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) national standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century. Successful completion of this course is eligible for high school credit with approval from school AP coordinator.

How it works
How do I earn high school AP Credit for taking this course?
(1) take pre-course Chinese proficiency assessment.
(2) get this course approved for high school AP credit (optional).
(3) sign the enrollment form and complete payment.
How do I get Ponddy's course approved by AP?
AP Coordinators/Administrators may add Ponddy's AP course by logging into their AP Audit account and selecting the "Add Online Provider" button on the School Status page. This will display the authorized Online Provider Courses and from here they can select Ponddy's AP Chinese Online course. This button will be available in August before the beginning of each school year. Once Ponddy is selected as an Online/Distance Provider, the course will appear for the applicable year in the school's course listing. It is up to the student to contact their schools to include the AP course credit on their transcript.
How do I take the AP Exam?
If you are interested in taking the AP Chinese exam, please check with your high school or local high schools to see if they will administer the exam for you. Ponddy cannot order nor administer AP exams.

What is the refund policy?
You can get a 100% refund if you decide to withdraw from the program within the first two sessions.
Students may opt out the course and get a full refund within 1 session if they sign up for Standard package, or within 2 sessions if they sign up for an Extended package, no questions asked. Our goal is to provide you with a program that perfectly fits your personal goals and needs, and we'll work with you to make sure the courses meet your level and preferences.
How are Ponddy's customized courses structured and conducted?
Our courses are modular in structure. We start with an assessment to help create an individual learning path by selecting modules from our Ponddy library. During live sessions, our instructors interact with students to identify learning gaps. Before class ends, our instructors dynamically create new content and exercises using our AI platform to address these gaps. Students continue to learn after the session is finished.
